Our story
Two congregations, one church family.
Our Savior's was formed from two older congregations, one Danish and one Swedish. We have gathered at our current home on Main Street for more than 50 years.
Along the way we have learned what we say to every visitor: the church is not a building. It is a community of people who gather together to worship and serve God together. Today that community includes people from many backgrounds and cultures, and children are welcomed as full participants in worship.
Who we are for
Life is full, and yet something can be missing.
Maybe you're new to town and don't know a soul. Maybe you've been carrying grief, stress, or questions with no one to share them. Maybe you grew up in church and drifted, or got hurt, and wonder if there's still room for you.
You shouldn't have to do life alone, and you shouldn't have to pretend to be someone you're not to be part of a faith community. We believe everyone deserves a place where they are known, loved, and free to bring their real self: doubts, scars, questions, and all.
Foundations of faith
Four things shape our life together.
Worship
Music, prayer, and reflection shared in a peaceful and welcoming setting.
Community
A warm space to meet others, build fellowship, and feel connected.
Service
Simple opportunities to support church life and care for the wider community.
Growth
Moments for learning, reflection, and meaningful spiritual conversation.
